Strawberry Fields Car Boot is the perfect place for bargain hunters and sellers alike, offering a bustling marketplace that epitomises the allure of the good old British car boot sale. Situated in the scenic countryside near Bridlington, Strawberry Fields Car Boot provides a vast open space where hundreds of sellers gather to sell everything from second-hand items and antiques to fresh produce and handmade crafts.

The surrounding area of Strawberry Fields is equally appealing, with the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside providing a picturesque backdrop. Nearby attractions, such as Bridlington’s sandy beaches and the scenic Yorkshire Wolds, make it easy to combine a visit to the car boot sale with a day of exploring the local area.

Strawberry Fields Car Boot is open every Thursday and Bank Holiday Monday from March to October and it is also open Tuesdays from the first week in June. Trading hours are 6 am – 2 pm.

The largest and most popular Morris Minor rally in the East Riding of Yorkshire can be enjoyed at Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
Take a tour of the magnificent cars on display and enjoy a gentle amble through Sewerby Hall and Gardens landscaped grounds and gardens complete with a zoo, cafe and country house which contains museum displays relating to the world-famous aviator Amy Johnson.

The award winning attraction of Sewerby Hall and Gardens is the place to visit. Uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers something for everyone from the magnificent award winning gardens to the deep rooted heritage of the house. Take a trip back to the 1900s to see how Sewerby Hall would have looked. The house has been transformed using furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum and other nationally important collections. The exciting exhibition programme includes a display about the lavish country house parties of the Edwardian period and features some of the costumes from an award winning period drama. Don’t miss the new short film about the life of Amy Johnson in her popular exhibition. The zoo is the place to keep the children amused. Housing a fascinating collection of animals and birds, highlights are our four Ring-Tailed Lemurs (fed at 2pm daily) and the must-see Humboldt Penguins (fed at 3pm daily). Why not pre-book your very own animal encounter with the penguins? Sewerby Hall and Gardens has a varied events programme from craft fairs to car rallies, Wacky Walks to Magic Days which all adds up to make a great day out.
For sport-lovers there is a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course, 18-hole putting green, a FootGolf course as well as Crown Green Bowling.

What were once the gatehouses and lodge to the estate near the entrance of Sewerby Hall and Gardens have been converted into three luxury holiday cottages. Available throughout the year, they can be booked by visiting the Sewerby Hall and Gardens website.
Sewerby parkrun
Sewerby Parkrun is a free 5k timed run that takes place every Saturday morning at 9am. Parkrun is a community event run by volunteers aimed at encouraging people to keep fit, healthy and active. Runners of all abilities are welcome.
Clock Tower Cafe
This modern designed tearoom sits within a converted Grade 2 listed stable block within the beautiful 50 acre site which is Sewerby Hall & Gardens. A perfect setting to relax either inside or on the patio area, enjoying stunning views.

On Sunday 4th August, Bridlington carnival will be the place to be with fantastic views from the cliffs featuring live music, trade displays, a car boot sale, food and drink as well as a vehicle show with awards for the best in their categories.
